My Story

Last year I took on the biggest challenge of my life - riding in the Magnolia Cup. This was a huge challenge for me as I had never ridden a racehorse before. It was 6 months of hard work and dedication and I became completely hooked!

This year I am back for round 2, I started training at the end of February and I have another 5 months of early starts, hard gym sessions and a lot of fun ahead of me! Even though I have done the race before it doesn't mean I am ready to go again. My fitness, riding technique and confidence need a lot of work and it will take a lot of dedication to get these back to what they were.

This year we are raising money for 'Wellbeing of Women' this is the health charity investing in pioneering medical research to keep women well at each stage of life. Wellbeing of Women is the UK’s leading women’s reproductive and gynaecological health charity dedicated to saving and changing lives through research for over 55 years. Their pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment across the breadth of female reproductive and gynaecological health, including pregnancy & childbirth, gynaecological cancers, and overlooked areas like endometriosis and the menopause has helped save thousands of lives and ensure a better start for many babies. The Magnolia Cup is an all women race, so this charity couldn't be more perfect!

This race means a HUGE amount to me, it completely changed my life in every way last year, I can't count the amount of dreams of mine this race made come true, from riding in a horse race to now having a job in presenting as soon as I finish university.

I would really apprieciate any donations you could make to this charity, every donation you make will not only help save lives but will also help me get out of bed at 4am to get to the yard and keep training!

HUGE THANK YOU in advance!!!
